ESL Philippines recognizes the important relationship between English and Mathematics. It sees that if English has a dictionary of words that add meaning to sentences, Math actually has a dictionary of words that can add meaning to an equation. Analysis even reveals English proficiency as a statistically significant predictor of mathematics scores.
Thus, ESL provides its learning community quality Math programs as Math tricks and Shortcuts, Vedic Math, Mental Math and Algebra to address the student needs in the logical and mathematical areas!

The Math Wizard program is a basic to advanced level or remedial math proficiency course that teaches the foundations, shortcuts, strategies or remedial lessons.
A pre-enrollment test and a parent/guardian interview are conducted by an ESL teacher to properly assess a student’s math proficiency level.
There are 20 days to be taken but are not required to be completed should the student has to be absent since this program is considered a subject-specific, academic enrichment course.
Math Wizard classes run for 25 – 40 minutes (*depending on the mode of learning).
Class schedule is customizable and can be based on the time preference and availability of the student, to be conducted via face-to-face or online (*fees vary).
An ESL folder and daily printed worksheets are to be provided by the ESL Math Teacher for center-based math classes while a whiteboard and marker are recommended to be prepared if class will be done online.
Yes, but with certain considerations (*to be discussed with the ESL teachers during the pre-enrollment assessment).
Yes, a certificate of recognition is provided in appreciation of the student’s persistence.
