In 2016, a wide-eyed and spirited toddler named Vayil Caisius V. Querol stepped into the world of learning through ESL Philippines’ Brainy Babies Program. At just three years old, his natural charm, curiosity, and expressive personality were already shining through—traits that would later define his confidence onstage.
That early spark revealed itself during an unforgettable Rock & Roll-themed Christmas Party at ESL. Microphone in hand, toddler Vayil owned the stage, lighting up the room with joy, rhythm, and a radiant smile. He wasn’t just having fun—he was showing early signs of something bigger. It was a moment that felt like a quiet foreshadowing of a much larger spotlight to come.
Today, that spotlight shines brighter than ever.
Fast forward to 2025, Vayil has landed a lead role in a musical production at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of Ateneo de Manila University—one of the country’s most renowned stages. With confident acting, pitch-perfect singing, natural charisma, and even dance moves that surprised his family, he captivated the audience and made the entire ESL community proud.
“Bravo Vayil! Last night was a revelation!” a proud aunt posted online.
“Your acting was natural; perfect diction, right pitch—and I didn’t even know you could dance! I think I was the proudest Tita in the room.”
